Israel Mobilizes Army And Calls Up Reserves After Early Morning Rocket Attack From Gaza Forces Netanyahu To Leave Washington And Return Home

An early morning rocket fired from the Gaza Strip demolished a house in central Israel on Monday, wounding seven people and prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cut short a trip to Washington.

Benjamin Netanyahu had just arrived in Washington when news of the early morning rocket attack from Hamas in the Gaza Strip sent him into immediate emergency security council sessions. Israel has decided to call up limited amounts of their reserves and have mobilized their army.
