Astros swept in extra-inning loss to Mariners, extend home skid to 8

In the bottom of the 10th, after two Houston closers combusted a game, the Mariners’ bullpen door opened. Out trotted Edwin Diaz. Baseball’s best closer achieved his job, allowing only an Alex Bregman single. His 46th save finished a 4-3 win and sent the Astros to a four-game sweep, the first ever at the hands of the Mariners.
