China Likes Trump And Disrespected Obama?
Did you just guffaw at the title? Come on, admit it. If you looked askance at my title I can understand why. You would say to yourself, wait a minute Obama was a die hard socialist and China is a socialist country, wouldn’t they be mutually in support of one another? Wait a moment Grasshopper. China is a behemoth of industry and consumer goods and is totally reliant on the after tax money of the American citizen to purchase their goods. What China didn’t want was less money going into the American pocket courtesy of Obama. They loved the fact that Trump was going to let Americans keep more of their hard earned money. Suddenly the right winger of the bunch was promising China continued prosperity and jobs for their people. Yee haw – a win win situation.
To be totally objective however we have to realize that there are folks in the Republican universe who want Trump to punish China with restrictive tariffs that would level the playing field for American manufacturers. If that direction were followed it would have a very negative effect on the overall economy of America. Certain special interests would benefit but the majority of Joe lunch bucket Americans would suffer. The call to action is based on the notion that China undergirds its manufacturing base with special dispensation from its government that enables them to unfairly compete with American business. Its a bit of smoke and mirrors folks and I am assured that President Trump sees through the argument and in fact has some pretty able advisors keeping him on the track of whats best for Americans as a whole and not just special interests who might expect payback for donations and support that they might have given during the election run up.
President Trumps proves again and again that he cannot be bought. His decisions are weighted in favor of America’s workers and their benefit. The media know this but consistently fail to mention it in their continuous stream of vitriol against the President. It is so all consuming multi-dimensional that it is almost personal in nature. It has me wondering if the American media just don’t like Presidents with blonde hair? Nah, can’t be.
