Another Florida businessman admits to role bribing Venezuelan national oil company

A Miami businessman pleaded guilty in Houston Wednesday to federal bribery charges in a corruption scheme involving Venezuela’s state-owned and state-controlled energy company. He is the tenth person to be snared in a federal probe of foreign corrupt practices involving Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. or PDVSA, according to a news release from Acting U.S. Attorney Abe Martinez.
