Leftists – Hate The President – Save the Whales, wolves, etc.
I notice that the leftists have found me and deliver their hate messages against the President in more and more subtle forms. I suspect that a new formula has been utilized to assure that those of us on the Christian Conservative Right use up our time answering them. My answer is now consistent across the board. They message me, I block them. End of story and when they recruit their friends to use the same methods, block… I could do this for decades and it wouldn’t bother me in the least.
Back in 1967, I was one of the earliest members of Pollution Probe in Toronto. It was basically like all the other environmental groups, made up of communists and aiming their big guns at government and any industry making a profit. We did take on Canadian Gypsum for their pollution in the area that I lived called Weston, a Toronto suburb. The stuff going up their flues melted the paint on cars and ruined lawns and vegetation generally. They changed their ways quickly. I actually addressed on behalf of our group and on live television the Environment Minister James Auld sitting across the table from me regarding what we were attempting to bring to his attention and what we expected him to do to remediate the situation. It took a while but the industry cleaned up their ways.
It’s interesting when you ask to work cooperatively with government and industry to right a wrong. They answer sweet reasonableness with sweet reasonableness. The rule of thumb for me has always been, let’s partner together to build a better future for our neighborhoods, our families, and our futures. Somewhere along the line that was lost as the communists took over the social movements that can be traced back to solid Biblical roots that want to advance Christ’s message of “being my Brother’s keeper”. The Commies turn it into an “us versus them”, hate scenario and the war is on. Such a waste, when if wiser heads prevailed and sweet reasonableness was used on both sides there could be a collective sigh of relief as responsible folks worked side by side to build a better future recognizing our responsibilities as communities without resorting to hate.
